The pipe surface around the weld seam is detected by a sensor. The grinding profile is then calculated using this data. The necessary movement for preparing the grinding geometry accordingly is realized by CNC. The grinding surface shows a tangential transition to the sheet.

The simultaneous grinding of the outside and inside weld seam presents the normal case. It is also possible to separately work either the outside or the inside weld seam.

The process is a high-performance belt grinding.

The entire process is carried out in accordance with the customer´s required cycle time.
