The grinding machines RSA and SSA have been designed for the automatic grinding and finishing of weld heights at pipe ends in the large pipe production.

All equipment shown here has been assembled according to specific customer requirements. In principle, the grinding equipment can be integrated within different sections in the pipe production process.

The core of this equipment is the very compact grinding machine. The pipe is being used for guidance and anchor point. Therefore, heavy and bulky frames are unnecessary.

A peak performance of 2 x 22 kW max. with a comparably very low total weight of the grinding equipment is reached with the deployment of hydraulic motors for the drives (for processing of the longitudinal weld).
